Getting to Los Penintentes

Los Penitentes is located in between Santiago, Chile and Mendoza, Argentina. The ski resort is about 143mi from Santiago and 100 miles from the city of Mendoza, which is the best stopping point en route to Los Penitentes.  

By Bus:

Buses run to Los Penitentes resort from the city of Mendoza, which is about 100 miles to the east. Some bus companies include: Crucero del Norte, Via Bariloche, Andesmar, and Flechabus, Uspallata.   

By Plane:

Flights to Mendoza from Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina are daily, as are flights from numerous other national and international airports. A bus ride from Mendoza is about two hours in length. 

By Car:

From Mendoza: Drive west on international route 7.                                                                         

From Santiago: Drive east on Paso de Uspallata. Cross into Argentina and continue on international route 7.
