Argentina
|
Argentina has ski resorts that suite everyone's tastes and and budgets. In our opinion, Las Lenas, has some of the best steep skiing, wide runs, friendly people, breathtaking views and nightlife in the world. Others such as Bariloche and San Martin de los Andes offer the combination of an old European small town combined with lakes and spectacular views in Patagonia. Cerro Bayo, La Hoya and Caviahue are smaller resorts but great values and less crowded and with a real local feel. Experience the feeling of skiing at the end of the world in Ushuaia at Cerro Castor ski resort and visiting nearby Tierra Del Fuego national park. Let us know where you would like to ski or snowboard in Argentina. |

| It is no secret that Argentina has suffered economic problems since 2001 as well as political corruption that has also caused the Argentine Peso to devalue. The silver lining to the financial cloud is that Argentina is now one of the best travel values going around. Tourism has increased dramtically the past couple of years with more and more foreigners discovering Argentina's vast array of resources and attractions such as world class skiing/snowboarding, fly fishing, hiking, vineyards, food (amazing beef), lakes, mountains, beaches, culture, tango and music. |
