Only a two hour drive from the Santiago Airport are the three connected ski areas of Valle Nevado, El Colorado and La Parva, giving you access to a large skiable domain known as the3 Valleys ski area. You can buy an upgrade to your pass to give you access to these resorts by buying a daily connecting pass. This can only be bought daily.
There is no town at Valle Nevado and it is a self contained ski resort with 3 main hotels (Hotel Valle Nevado, Puerta Del Sol, Tres Puntas) with one condo option and no real budget option right at Valle Nevado and instead being at Los Farellones area 20 minutes away. Valle Nevado is one of the top ski resorts in South America with many important events taking place there such as snowboard FIS and world cups as it has the only half pipe in South America. The heli skiing there is also amazing and the best in all of South America with first descents still to be had.
We recommend a trip to Valle Nevado for any skier, snowboarder (especially snowboarders, better snowboard resort than Portillo) or family that enjoys skiing and snowboarding and is looking for a relaxing holiday and a variety of inertnational cuisine available at Valle Nevado's various Italian, Swiss, French and Chilean restaurants.
Valle Nevado has the most reliable snow in South America along with Portillo and Las Lenas. Please peruse the Valle Nevado portion of our site to learn more or contact us for a quote or to book your trip there now!
